Job Description:
The Clothing Assembly Technician is responsible for putting together various components of garments such as sleeves, collars, waistbands, and linings using industrial sewing machines, riveters, and adhesive tools. The technician follows detailed garment specifications and contributes to producing quality ready-to-wear clothing.
Tasks include interpreting assembly diagrams, stitching components in sequence, inspecting seams for strength and alignment, and collaborating with cutting and finishing teams. The technician also performs machine maintenance and troubleshooting as required.
Job Requirement:
A diploma or certificate in garment construction or tailoring is preferred. At least two years of experience in garment manufacturing or clothing assembly is essential. Proficiency in operating sewing and assembly equipment, reading design specifications, and ensuring product consistency is required.
Candidates must have good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. The ability to work long hours while seated and meet production quotas is necessary.
