Job Description:
The Clothing Closure Technician installs and ensures the functionality of garment closures, including zippers, buttons, hooks, snaps, and Velcro. The technician works from design templates and garment blueprints to place closures accurately and securely.
Tasks include inspecting closure components, adjusting installation tools or machines, aligning garment layers, and performing manual tests to confirm closure integrity. Technicians also troubleshoot malfunctions or inconsistencies.
Job Requirement:
High school diploma required; prior experience in garment finishing or accessory application preferred. The applicant must possess technical skills in handling closures, familiarity with garment patterns, and the ability to perform quality checks.
Good coordination, precision, and basic mechanical knowledge are essential. Safety-conscious behavior and the ability to follow technical instructions are also required.
