Job Description:
The Biomedical Engineering Supervisor oversees a team responsible for maintaining and inspecting biomedical equipment across healthcare facilities. This role includes preventive maintenance planning, emergency response coordination, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.
The supervisor supports hospital accreditation processes, vendor liaison, training programs, and equipment lifecycle management. Ensuring uptime of critical care devices and supporting technical evaluations for procurement are key aspects of this role.
Job Requirement:
A bachelor’s degree in Biomedical or Clinical Engineering and 7–10 years of experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role, are required. Proficiency in standards such as ISO 13485, NFPA, and WHO guidelines is needed.
Strong leadership, equipment auditing, and maintenance management software experience are essential.
