Additional duties involve customer education on meter functionality, responding to meter alarms, and supporting utility analytics teams with field data insights.
Job Requirement:
A diploma in electronics, instrumentation, IT networking, or utility technology is required. Experience with smart grid infrastructure, wireless communication systems, and networked metering platforms is essential. Knowledge of AMI systems, RF mesh networks, and data encryption protocols is highly desirable.
Candidates must have excellent troubleshooting skills, the ability to configure digital interfaces, and familiarity with handheld programming tools. Certifications in smart meter installation or data communication security are an advantage. The role demands strong documentation practices, customer interaction skills, and willingness to work in the field under varied conditions.
