Job Description:
The Loom Machine Operator in Hawally runs and maintains weaving looms that produce woven fabrics by interlacing warp and weft yarns. These fabrics serve various purposes including apparel, upholstery, and industrial uses.
The operator sets up the loom with correct yarn types and tension, monitors weaving progress, checks for broken threads or shuttle jams, and inspects woven fabric for defects such as missing picks or uneven weaving. They also document production output and perform periodic machine maintenance.
Job Requirement:
Applicants should have prior experience in loom operation, preferably with rapier, air-jet, or shuttle looms. Vocational training in weaving or textile technology is advantageous. Understanding of weaving mechanics, yarn behavior, and tension control is essential.
