We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Agri-Food Researcher to join our team in Mesaieed, Qatar, under the Agriculture & Fisheries sector. The successful candidate will conduct scientific research focused on sustainable food production, crop enhancement, soil health, and agri-technology innovations tailored to Qatar’s arid climate. Responsibilities include designing and executing research trials, analyzing agricultural data, developing climate-resilient crops, and collaborating with local farms and fisheries to implement findings.
The role involves interdisciplinary work across agronomy, food science, and environmental sustainability, with a strong emphasis on improving food security and resource efficiency. Candidates should have a Master’s or Ph.D. in Agriculture, Food Science, or a related field, along with experience in experimental design and modern lab techniques. Familiarity with regional agricultural challenges and hydroponic or aquaponic systems is an advantage.
