Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and responsible Agricultural Chemical Applicator to join our team in Al Shamal, Qatar, within the Agriculture & Fisheries sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the proper and safe application of pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and other agricultural chemicals across various crop fields and aquatic environments. You will work under the direction of farm managers and agronomists to ensure that crops and fisheries are treated effectively to promote optimal growth and prevent pests and diseases.
Daily responsibilities include mixing chemicals according to precise measurements, calibrating and operating application equipment (such as sprayers, drones, or aerial applicators), and maintaining detailed records of all applications in accordance with national regulations. You must follow strict safety protocols to avoid environmental contamination and health risks. Additionally, you may assist with general farm duties during off-application periods.
This role is crucial for maintaining sustainable agricultural production and fisheries in the region. The ideal candidate must be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to environmental stewardship. Preference will be given to individuals with prior experience in desert or coastal agriculture.
