Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Agricultural Machinery Operator to join our agricultural operations in Madinat ash Shamal, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing a range of agricultural equipment used in planting, cultivating, harvesting, and transporting crops. This role plays a vital part in ensuring productivity and efficiency in daily farming activities under Qatar’s climatic and soil conditions.
Key responsibilities include operating tractors, harvesters, ploughs, and irrigation equipment, ensuring they are in safe and optimal working condition. The operator will also assist in monitoring crop growth, applying fertilizers and pesticides, and coordinating with field supervisors and technicians for efficient task execution. Strict adherence to safety regulations and environmental practices is required. The operator must adapt to seasonal work demands and may need to work long hours during peak periods. Experience with GPS and precision farming tools will be considered an asset.
