Job Description:
The Agricultural Machinery Repairer in Al Wukair, Qatar, will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of agricultural equipment used in crop production and fisheries operations. The role includes diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues in machinery such as tractors, harvesters, irrigation pumps, seed drills, and aquaculture feeding systems. The repairer will dismantle and reassemble equipment, replace worn or defective parts, and conduct regular maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
In this position, the individual will work closely with farm managers and operators to schedule repairs and preventive servicing. The job also involves calibrating equipment for efficiency, maintaining accurate maintenance logs, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Familiarity with both modern, computer-controlled machinery and traditional mechanical systems is essential.
Working conditions include both workshop and field settings, sometimes under extreme weather. Flexibility to respond to urgent repairs and equipment breakdowns is required. The candidate must demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
