Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Agricultural Crop Advisor to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and technical support to farmers and agricultural enterprises, ensuring optimal crop production and sustainable farming practices. Responsibilities include evaluating soil conditions, recommending appropriate fertilizers and pest management solutions, and advising on crop selection based on climate and market trends. The advisor will also monitor crop health, conduct field visits, and use data-driven techniques to improve yields and reduce environmental impact.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of local and regional agricultural practices in the Gulf region is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the role involves working closely with farmers, government agencies, and stakeholders. Familiarity with modern agricultural technologies and precision farming tools is a plus.
