Job Description:
The AI Translation Editor in Al Daayen is responsible for reviewing, refining, and enhancing translations produced by artificial intelligence systems to ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and readability. This role involves working closely with AI developers, linguists, and localization teams to improve machine-generated content used across various sectors, including legal, technical, marketing, and healthcare communications.
Key responsibilities include editing AI-generated translations, identifying errors or awkward phrasing, and applying necessary corrections while maintaining the original message’s intent and tone. The editor also contributes to training AI models by providing feedback and developing language resources, style guides, and glossaries to improve future translations.
The ideal candidate combines linguistic expertise with an understanding of AI technology, machine learning, and natural language processing. This role supports Qatar’s efforts to integrate cutting-edge translation technology into multilingual content workflows efficiently and effectively.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Translation, Computer Science, or related fields.
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in translation editing, preferably with AI or machine-generated content.
Skills:
Strong command of source and target languages relevant to Qatar’s market.
Familiarity with AI translation tools and NLP technologies.
Excellent editing, proofreading, and linguistic analysis skills.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers and linguists.
Understanding of cultural nuances and language-specific challenges.
Language: Proficiency in Arabic and English is highly desirable; other languages are a plus.
