Job Description:
The Audio Script Localizer in Al Gharrafa is responsible for adapting audio scripts, including podcasts, radio ads, voiceovers, and audiobooks, to ensure they are culturally relevant and linguistically accurate for target audiences in Qatar. This role involves translating and localizing content to maintain the intended tone, style, and emotional impact while considering regional dialects and cultural sensitivities.
Key duties include collaborating with scriptwriters, voice artists, and production teams to review and revise scripts for linguistic clarity and cultural appropriateness. The localizer ensures synchronization of translated scripts with audio timing and provides feedback to improve overall content quality. The role supports a variety of industries, including media, marketing, education, and entertainment.
The ideal candidate has strong bilingual skills, experience in audio or media localization, and familiarity with the nuances of spoken language and regional dialects in Qatar.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Media Studies, or related fields.
Experience: 2+ years in audio script localization, voiceover translation, or related roles.
Skills:
Fluency in Arabic and English; knowledge of local dialects is a plus.
Excellent writing and editing skills tailored to spoken language.
