Job Description:
The Assistant Director in Al Khor supports the executive leadership team by managing departmental functions, contributing to strategic planning, and ensuring the effective execution of operational initiatives. This role acts as a liaison between senior management and operational teams, coordinating efforts to meet organizational goals while driving process improvement, compliance, and productivity.
In Al Khor—a coastal city central to Qatar’s energy, environmental, and infrastructure sectors—the Assistant Director contributes to project oversight, team leadership, performance monitoring, and administrative governance. Key responsibilities include preparing reports and proposals for executive review, tracking departmental budgets, supporting the implementation of policies and procedures, and identifying opportunities for organizational development. The role also includes managing internal communications and representing leadership in external meetings or cross-functional committees.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or equivalent professional training is advantageous.
Experience: 6–8 years in operational or administrative leadership roles, with at least 2 years in an assistant director or equivalent position.
Skills:
Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
Proficiency in report writing, budgeting, and project tracking tools.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally.
Knowledge of policy development and regulatory compliance.
Language: Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is preferred.
