Job Description:

The Business Expansion Director in Al Rayyan is responsible for driving the strategic growth and geographic expansion of the organization across new markets, regions, or customer segments. This role plays a critical part in business diversification, market entry planning, and execution of growth initiatives in alignment with the company's broader goals.

Al Rayyan, one of Qatar’s fastest-growing municipalities with strong commercial and industrial development, provides an ideal environment for business expansion. The Director is expected to lead market feasibility studies, oversee local partnerships and joint ventures, manage expansion-related risks, and work with internal departments—such as legal, operations, and finance—to ensure seamless implementation. The role also involves leading teams tasked with scouting new opportunities, regulatory approvals, and adapting offerings to local customer needs.

Job Requirement:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Strategic Management, or Economics; an MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred.

Experience: 10–12 years in business development, corporate expansion, or market strategy, including 4+ years in a senior leadership role.

Skills:

Expertise in market analysis, strategic partnerships, and commercial negotiations.

Strong knowledge of Qatari and GCC market dynamics.

Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and project execution abilities.

Proficiency in financial forecasting, regulatory planning, and contract structuring.

Ability to drive results in cross-functional, multicultural teams.

Language: Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.

Other Requirements:

Familiarity with investment licensing, free zone regulations, and joint venture protocols in Qatar.

Proven success in scaling business operations or launching in new markets.

Visionary thinking coupled with a hands-on execution approach.

Willingness to travel within Qatar and internationally, as needed.
