Job Description:
The Business Unit Leader in Dukhan is responsible for managing the full operations, strategy, and performance of a specific business unit, ensuring its alignment with broader corporate goals and market demands. This role involves overseeing teams, driving financial results, optimizing processes, and cultivating innovation and collaboration across functions.
Located in Dukhan—a key site for Qatar’s energy and industrial sectors—the Business Unit Leader plays a crucial role in resource planning, production oversight, regulatory compliance, and client relationship management. Key responsibilities include setting business unit targets, implementing strategic initiatives, monitoring KPIs, leading cross-departmental projects, and ensuring that services or products meet quality and safety standards. The position also requires close coordination with finance, HR, and technical departments to achieve operational excellence and sustainable growth.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or Industrial Operations; an MBA or executive development certification is highly preferred.
Experience: 10+ years of experience in operations, business leadership, or unit management, with at least 3–5 years in a strategic leadership role.
Skills:
Strong business acumen and operational planning expertise.
Experience managing diverse teams and P&L responsibility.
Proficiency in performance analysis, budgeting, and process improvement.
Leadership in driving change and achieving strategic milestones.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and team-building skills.
Language: Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
