Job Description:
The Bioengineering Specialist in Al Wukair is responsible for applying engineering principles to solve biological and medical challenges, supporting the development of biomedical products, tissue engineering applications, and bio-compatible devices. This multidisciplinary role blends biology, materials science, and engineering to innovate solutions for healthcare systems, diagnostics, and therapeutic technologies. The specialist contributes to R&D projects, device prototyping, and biofabrication processes while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include designing bio-compatible materials, conducting cellular and tissue analysis, optimizing manufacturing methods, and testing performance under physiological conditions. The specialist works closely with clinicians, researchers, and regulatory teams to translate scientific concepts into functional biomedical applications. Additional duties include data analysis, writing technical reports, and participating in patent and publication development.
Al Wukair is emerging as a regional hub for life sciences and bioinnovation, making this role critical to Qatar’s biomedical advancement and healthcare sustainability goals.
Job Requirement:
Education: Master’s or PhD in Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related life sciences field.
Experience: 4–6 years in bioengineering R&D, ideally in a regulated healthcare or biotech environment.
Skills:
Strong understanding of biomaterials, tissue engineering, and medical device integration.
Proficiency in CAD and simulation tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS).
Laboratory experience with cell cultures, 3D printing, and material testing.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and presentation skills.
Familiarity with international regulatory standards (ISO 10993, FDA, CE Mark).
Language: Fluency in English required; Arabic is advantageous.
