Job Description:
The Brain Research Scientist in Mesaieed is responsible for conducting advanced research into brain function, neurological disorders, and cognitive processes to contribute to medical knowledge and therapeutic development. This role involves designing and executing experiments using techniques such as neuroimaging, electrophysiology, molecular biology, and computational modeling. The scientist collaborates with neurologists, psychiatrists, and interdisciplinary research teams to investigate conditions like Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, and traumatic brain injury.
Key responsibilities include preparing research proposals, securing grants, analyzing complex data sets, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and presenting findings at scientific conferences. The role may also involve supervising junior researchers, contributing to clinical trials, and ensuring ethical compliance with research standards set by national and international regulatory bodies.

Job Requirement:
Education: PhD in Neuroscience, Neurobiology, Cognitive Science, or a related field.
Experience: 3–6 years of postdoctoral or independent neuroscience research experience.
Skills:
Expertise in neurobiological methods (EEG, fMRI, animal models, or in vitro assays).
Strong data analysis skills using platforms such as MATLAB, Python, or SPSS.
Ability to design and manage experimental protocols.
Strong publication history and grant-writing ability.
Familiarity with ethical standards in human or animal research.
Language: Proficiency in English required; Arabic is beneficial.
