Job Description:
The Biotech Strategy Consultant in Al Gharrafa is responsible for advising biotechnology companies, research institutions, and government stakeholders on business strategy, R&D planning, and commercialization within the biotech sector. This high-impact role supports innovation-driven growth by aligning scientific capabilities with market opportunities, regulatory frameworks, and investment trends.
Key responsibilities include conducting market analysis, evaluating new biotech ventures, supporting strategic partnerships, and advising on product development pipelines. The consultant works with C-level executives, scientists, and policy makers to develop actionable roadmaps for biotech expansion. Responsibilities also include feasibility studies, competitive benchmarking, and strategic input into funding and licensing decisions.
Based in Al Gharrafa—a key location for Qatar’s research and innovation initiatives—this role plays a central part in shaping the national biotech ecosystem and contributing to global health and economic development goals.
Job Requirement:
Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Business Strategy, or related field; MBA preferred.
Experience: 6–8 years in biotech consulting, strategic planning, or life sciences innovation.
Skills:
Deep understanding of biotechnology R&D and commercialization pathways.
Strong business acumen with experience in market and competitive analysis.
Ability to bridge scientific knowledge with commercial insights.
Skilled in stakeholder engagement, project management, and financial modeling.
Familiarity with regulatory and intellectual property considerations.
Language: Fluency in English required; Arabic is an advantage.
