Job Description:
The Boxing and Wrapping Associate is responsible for securely packaging retail products in Doha, Qatar, to ensure their safe handling, transport, and presentation. This role involves boxing, wrapping, and sealing products according to company standards and customer requirements. The associate prepares merchandise for shipment, storage, or in-store display, maintaining high levels of quality and efficiency.
Key duties include selecting appropriate packaging materials, ensuring items are protected from damage during transit, labeling packages accurately, and keeping packing stations organized. The Boxing and Wrapping Associate works closely with order pickers, packers, and shipping teams to meet daily packing quotas and deadlines.
Attention to detail and a focus on quality are essential to prevent product damage and enhance the customer experience. The role requires physical stamina for prolonged standing and handling of various packaging materials. The associate must also adhere to health and safety guidelines and support inventory accuracy by reporting packing issues or discrepancies.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: 1 year of experience in packaging, warehousing, or retail preferred.
Skills:
Knowledge of packing and wrapping techniques.
Ability to handle fragile and varied merchandise.
Basic computer skills for inventory updates.
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Language: Basic English communication; Arabic is a plus.
Other Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry packages up to 20 kg.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
Physically fit to stand and work on feet for long periods.
