Job Description:
The Delivery Coordination Worker is responsible for managing and supporting the timely delivery of retail goods from warehouses to stores and customers across Al Thakhira, Qatar. This role involves coordinating logistics schedules, tracking shipments, and ensuring efficient handling of delivery operations.
Key duties include liaising with drivers, warehouse teams, and store managers to arrange pick-ups and drop-offs, monitoring delivery routes, and resolving any issues that arise during transit. The coordinator assists in maintaining delivery documentation, verifying shipment accuracy, and ensuring goods are handled safely.
This position requires close attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. The Delivery Coordination Worker also supports communication between supply chain partners to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirement:
Education: Minimum high school diploma; logistics or supply chain training is beneficial.
Experience: Prior experience in delivery coordination, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred.
Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Effective communication skills in English and/or Arabic.
Basic knowledge of inventory and shipment tracking systems.
Problem-solving skills to address delivery challenges.
Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery schedules.
Other Requirements:
Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends.
Physically able to assist with loading/unloading if needed.
Team-oriented and proactive approach.
Familiarity with Qatari road regulations is an advantage.
