Job Description:
The Facility Maintenance Helper plays a supportive role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of retail store facilities in Al Rayyan. Working under the guidance of maintenance supervisors or technicians, this position assists with routine upkeep, minor repairs, and general housekeeping tasks to ensure a pleasant shopping environment for customers and staff.
Key responsibilities include cleaning floors, windows, and restrooms; disposing of waste; replenishing supplies; and performing simple repairs such as fixing light fixtures, door handles, or shelving. The helper may also assist with setting up displays, moving store fixtures, and supporting maintenance projects as directed.
This role requires vigilance in identifying potential maintenance issues and reporting them promptly to avoid disruptions in store operations. The Facility Maintenance Helper supports compliance with health and safety regulations and contributes to a well-maintained, safe retail environment.
Physical stamina is important, as the job involves standing, bending, lifting, and working in various store areas. A proactive attitude and willingness to assist in diverse tasks are essential.
Job Requirement:
Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Prior experience in facility maintenance or cleaning is advantageous but not required.
