Job Description:
The Bulk Material Transport Driver in Dukhan is tasked with transporting large volumes of raw or processed materials such as sand, cement, aggregates, and industrial by-products between manufacturing plants, storage facilities, and construction sites. Operating specialized bulk transport vehicles, the driver ensures timely, safe, and secure delivery of materials critical to Qatar’s industrial and infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading and unloading bulk materials using designated hatches or pneumatic systems, securing cargo to prevent shifting, and adhering to all transportation safety standards. The role also involves maintaining transport logs, communicating with dispatch teams, and reporting any equipment issues or delivery delays.
Drivers are expected to be well-versed in road regulations and capable of operating under varying weather and road conditions. The role supports continuous supply chain operations in industries ranging from construction and cement production to mining and heavy equipment manufacturing in the Dukhan region.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; training in heavy vehicle operations is advantageous.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in bulk material or heavy cargo transportation.
Skills:
Proficiency in operating bulk transport vehicles and unloading systems.
Knowledge of material handling and load safety.
Understanding of transport regulations and GPS navigation.
Strong vehicle maintenance and inspection skills.
Capable of working independently and handling delivery schedules.
License: Valid Qatar heavy-duty vehicle license with appropriate endorsements.
Language: Basic English required; Arabic is an advantage.
Other: Physically fit, reliable, and available for long-distance routes and shift work.
