Job Description:
The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Specialist in Dukhan, Qatar, is responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to manufacture precision parts for industrial and heavy machinery sectors. This role involves advanced understanding of CNC software and hardware to ensure optimal machine performance and high-quality output.
Key responsibilities include creating and optimizing CNC programs based on technical drawings and CAD models, setting up machines, selecting tools, and monitoring production runs for accuracy and efficiency. The specialist troubleshoots programming and mechanical issues, performs routine maintenance, and ensures adherence to safety and quality standards.
Collaboration with design engineers, quality inspectors, and production teams is essential to meet tight deadlines and project specifications. The role also requires detailed documentation of production processes and machine adjustments to facilitate continuous improvement and compliance with industry regulations.
Job Requirement:
Education: Advanced technical diploma or certification in CNC programming, machining, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC programming and operation.
Skills:
Expertise in CNC programming languages and software.
Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and CAD models.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Knowledge of machine maintenance and safety protocols.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
