Job Description:
The Chemical Safety Analyst in Doha plays a crucial role in assessing and managing chemical hazards within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and industrial settings. This role involves evaluating chemical risks, developing safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with local and international chemical safety regulations to protect workers, the public, and the environment.
Key responsibilities include conducting chemical risk assessments, reviewing safety data sheets (SDS), monitoring hazardous material storage and disposal, and advising on the safe handling of chemicals throughout research and production processes. The analyst collaborates with environmental health and safety teams, regulatory bodies, and operational managers to implement chemical safety programs, conduct training, and support incident investigations.

Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in chemical safety, industrial hygiene, or environmental risk assessment.
Skills:
Strong understanding of chemical hazard identification, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
Proficient in interpreting MSDS/SDS and chemical labeling standards.
Experience in developing safety procedures and emergency response plans.
Ability to conduct training and communicate safety information clearly.
Familiarity with Qatar’s chemical safety regulations and international standards (OSHA, REACH).
Language: Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
