Job Description:
The Clinical Information Manager in Al Shamal is responsible for managing, organizing, and safeguarding clinical information systems that support patient care, research, and regulatory reporting. This role ensures that clinical data is accurate, secure, accessible, and aligned with healthcare and research objectives in the biotechnology and life sciences sector.
Key responsibilities include overseeing electronic health records (EHRs) and clinical trial information systems, ensuring compliance with data governance protocols, supporting the integration of health informatics tools, and enabling seamless data exchange between clinical and research entities. The manager collaborates with clinicians, researchers, IT professionals, and regulatory teams to optimize data workflows and reporting accuracy.
This role is essential to enhancing clinical decision-making, accelerating research, and supporting digital transformation in Qatar’s healthcare and biotech landscape.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Biomedical Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience: 4–6 years of experience in clinical data management, health informatics, or information governance roles.
Skills:
Proficiency in clinical information systems (EHR, CTMS, LIMS).
Strong knowledge of health data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
Experience with data quality assurance, reporting tools, and analytics.
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and coordination skills.
Ability to work across clinical, research, and IT departments.
Language: Fluency in English; Arabic is an asset.
