Job Description:
The Content Architect in Al Wakrah plays a pivotal role in designing and structuring digital content frameworks that support user-centric experiences and scalable publishing systems. This role is responsible for organizing content hierarchies, defining taxonomies, and mapping user flows to ensure content is accessible, relevant, and well-integrated across platforms such as websites, intranets, applications, and digital knowledge bases.
Working closely with UX/UI designers, developers, content strategists, and SEO specialists, the Content Architect will define content models, audit existing assets, and recommend structural improvements to support navigation, personalization, and discoverability. Responsibilities include creating wireframes and content templates, maintaining metadata schemas, and developing content governance standards.
The position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of information architecture, digital behavior, and cross-functional collaboration. The architect will also participate in usability testing, analytics review, and iterative design updates to ensure that the content structure evolves with user needs and organizational objectives.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Architecture, UX Design, Library Science, or a related field.
Experience: 4+ years in content architecture, UX writing, or digital content systems design.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of content modeling, metadata frameworks, and taxonomy design.
Proficiency in wireframing and design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Axure).
Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal, WordPress) and structured content delivery.
Experience with usability testing and user journey mapping.
Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO best practices.
Language: Proficiency in English is essential; Arabic is a plus.
