Job Description:

The Environmental Toxicologist in Al Wukair is responsible for assessing the effects of chemical, biological, and physical agents on the environment and human health. This role focuses on identifying toxic substances in soil, water, air, or food and evaluating their impact on ecosystems and communities. The toxicologist designs and conducts laboratory and field studies, interprets toxicological data, and provides guidance on exposure limits, remediation strategies, and policy recommendations.

Key responsibilities include performing environmental risk assessments, analyzing toxic exposure pathways, contributing to environmental monitoring programs, and advising government agencies or private organizations on environmental regulations. The role also involves preparing technical reports, participating in environmental impact assessments (EIA), and supporting research for sustainable development projects.

Located in Al Wukair—a region with expanding urban, agricultural, and industrial activity—this position supports Qatar’s commitment to environmental protection, public safety, and scientific innovation.

Job Requirement:

Education: Master’s or PhD in Toxicology, Environmental Science, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.

Experience: 4–6 years in environmental toxicology, public health, or environmental risk consulting.

Skills:

Expertise in toxicological testing methods, environmental sampling, and bioassays.

Proficiency with modeling tools for exposure and dose-response assessment.

Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

Familiarity with environmental laws and standards (e.g., EPA, WHO, Qatari environmental codes).

Ability to write scientific and regulatory reports clearly and concisely.

Language: Fluency in English required; Arabic is a plus.
