Job Description:
The Grocery Bagger plays an essential role in enhancing the customer shopping experience at grocery stores in Al Gharrafa, Qatar. The primary responsibility is to assist customers by efficiently and carefully packing their purchased goods into bags, ensuring items are organized, protected, and easy to carry.
This role involves close interaction with customers at the checkout area, providing friendly and courteous service while maintaining speed and accuracy. The Grocery Bagger also helps maintain cleanliness in the checkout area, assists cashiers when necessary, and may support restocking shelves during slower periods.
Attention to detail is important to avoid damage to fragile items and to ensure that cold and frozen products are properly separated from other goods. The Grocery Bagger must be physically fit to handle repetitive lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Job Requirement:
Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Previous retail or grocery experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
Skills:
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Careful handling of groceries to prevent damage.
Basic understanding of bagging techniques and item segregation.
