Job Description:
The Health Informatics Analyst in Al Khor is responsible for analyzing and managing health data systems to improve clinical, operational, and research outcomes within biotechnology and healthcare organizations. This role involves integrating data from multiple sources, optimizing electronic health record (EHR) systems, and generating actionable insights for healthcare delivery and scientific decision-making.
Key responsibilities include collecting and validating healthcare data, developing dashboards and reports, analyzing patient and laboratory trends, and supporting interoperability between systems such as EHR, LIS, and clinical trial databases. The analyst also plays a key role in ensuring data integrity, privacy, and compliance with health data governance standards.
This position supports the digital transformation of Qatar’s healthcare and biotech industries by enabling data-driven innovation in diagnostics, treatment, and public health research.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in health informatics, clinical data analysis, or bioinformatics within a hospital, biotech, or research setting.
Skills:
Proficiency in SQL, Excel, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and EHR systems.
Understanding of healthcare coding standards (e.g., ICD, CPT) and data security protocols (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with clinical or research databases.
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Language: Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
