Job Description:
We are hiring a Bakery Specialist in Madrid to handle all aspects of artisan bread and bakery item preparation for our in-house café and retail counters.
You’ll be responsible for mixing, fermenting, shaping, and baking various bread types, pastries, and baked snacks. Maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and taste profiles are essential.
You’ll also work closely with the procurement and kitchen teams to ensure ingredient quality, timely production, and innovation in baked goods.
Job Requirement:
Candidates should have a professional certification in baking and at least 2 years of hands-on bakery experience.
You must be comfortable working early morning shifts and handling industrial ovens, mixers, and proofers. Knowledge of natural fermentation, dough hydration, and baking schedules is required.
Cleanliness, speed, and attention to weight and temperature details are essential.
Understanding bakery inventory and scaling recipes for larger batches is expected. Knowledge of gluten-free or specialty baking is a plus.
