Job Description:
We are hiring a Baking Oven Technician to operate and monitor industrial baking ovens at our bakery facility in Barcelona. You will be responsible for ensuring all baked goods meet product specifications in terms of appearance, texture, and baking consistency.
Your daily duties will include setting oven temperatures, adjusting conveyor speeds, loading and unloading trays, and performing pre- and post-operation checks on the ovens. You will also work closely with quality control to ensure that baking standards are consistently met.
The role requires strict adherence to food safety and sanitation practices. You will also assist in cleaning the baking area, reporting equipment issues, and helping maintain the production flow. Candidates must be able to handle repetitive tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirement:
Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment is strongly preferred. Familiarity with industrial ovens, baking cycles, and temperature controls is a major plus.
You should be physically capable of working in hot environments and handling baking trays. Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to follow recipes and temperature charts are essential. A basic understanding of HACCP and food hygiene standards is required.
