Job Description:
The Air Safety Compliance Manager in Dubai leads the regulatory oversight and internal compliance framework for airside and flight operations, ensuring adherence to national and international aviation safety laws. This senior role focuses on driving compliance with safety protocols, conducting audits, overseeing corrective action plans, and maintaining documentation for inspection readiness.
Key responsibilities include managing the implementation of Safety Management System (SMS) elements, preparing for GCAA audits, overseeing internal compliance audits, and ensuring corrective actions are tracked and closed. The manager collaborates with safety officers, operational leads, engineering, and quality assurance departments to identify non-conformities and promote safety improvements.
The Air Safety Compliance Manager also monitors incident and accident reporting systems, reviews root cause investigations, and ensures that operational changes are assessed for risk before implementation. They may serve as the primary contact point for regulatory inspections and industry safety audits, ensuring all records, manuals, and processes meet audit readiness standards.
This role is essential in upholding the safety integrity of the organization, reducing risk exposure, and ensuring transparent communication with regulatory authorities.
Job Requirement:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Aviation Safety, Regulatory Affairs, or Engineering is required, with 8–10 years of experience in aviation safety, including 3–5 years in a leadership or compliance oversight role. Candidates must demonstrate a deep understanding of ICAO Annex 19, GCAA Civil Aviation Regulations, and IOSA or EASA standards. Experience with safety audit frameworks, compliance software, and SMS platforms is essential. Strong leadership, analytical, and documentation skills are required. English fluency is mandatory; Arabic is a plus.
