Job Description:
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Al Ain performs routine, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft systems and components to ensure airworthiness, safety, and compliance with aviation regulatory standards. Working under the supervision of licensed aircraft engineers, the technician supports pre-flight, transit, and heavy maintenance tasks in both hangar and line maintenance environments.
Key duties include inspecting airframes, engines, landing gear, hydraulics, avionics, and environmental control systems; repairing or replacing faulty components; performing system function tests; and documenting all maintenance actions in accordance with the Maintenance Control Manual (MCM). The technician also prepares aircraft for return to service following maintenance, calibrates testing equipment, and follows all safety and quality control procedures.
The technician is expected to stay up to date with manufacturer bulletins, airworthiness directives, and safety protocols from GCAA and international aviation authorities. In addition, the role may involve working shifts, responding to AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations, and supporting logistical coordination for spare parts and tools.
This is a highly skilled and safety-sensitive role that contributes directly to the operational integrity of commercial and private aviation assets.
Job Requirement:
A diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or Aeronautical Technology is required, with a minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience. Candidates must have technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or avionics systems, and familiarity with aircraft maintenance software. Certification or progress toward EASA/GCAA licensing is preferred. Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills are essential. English fluency is required; Arabic is a plus. Must be willing to work shifts and meet safety/medical clearance requirements.
