Job Description:
The Air Traffic Strategy Analyst in Sharjah is responsible for analyzing airspace utilization, slot availability, and air traffic flows to support strategic planning and operational coordination. The role contributes to optimizing flight operations through improved slot management, ATC coordination, and airspace planning.
Key duties include analyzing slot usage, runway and taxiway capacity, enroute constraints, and ATFM delays. The analyst supports slot allocation processes, participates in coordination meetings with airport and air navigation authorities, and models scenarios for future traffic growth. They also evaluate the impact of regulatory changes and infrastructure developments on air traffic movements.
This position collaborates with airline operations, airport scheduling, and government aviation bodies to develop strategies that balance efficiency, safety, and capacity utilization. The analyst plays a critical role in strategic initiatives such as new terminal development, airspace redesign, or transition to free-route airspace.
This analytical role ensures that air traffic strategies align with growth targets and regulatory expectations.
Job Requirement:
A degree in Air Traffic Management, Aviation Planning, or Engineering is required, with 3–5 years of experience in airspace or slot strategy. Familiarity with ICAO ATM concepts, slot coordination rules, and ATFM tools is essential. Proficiency in modeling software and traffic databases is required. Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills are needed. English fluency is mandatory; Arabic is a plus.
