Job Description:
The Building Operations Manager in Al Ain is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of building systems across one or multiple properties. This role oversees technical operations, preventive maintenance, energy efficiency programs, and vendor performance.
Duties include managing building services such as HVAC, elevators, fire alarms, water systems, and electrical infrastructure. The manager prepares maintenance schedules, supervises technical staff, ensures compliance with municipal and civil defense requirements, and tracks utility consumption.
The role also involves emergency preparedness planning, sustainability initiatives, and tenant service delivery. Coordination with leasing, facilities, and finance teams ensures asset longevity and operational excellence.
Job Requirement:
A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Facilities Management, is required, with 6–8 years of experience in property operations or building management. Proficiency in BMS, CMMS, and technical troubleshooting is essential. Strong team leadership and regulatory compliance knowledge are necessary. English fluency is required; Arabic is preferred.
