Job Description:
The Construction Compliance Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all construction projects in Al Ain adhere to local building codes, safety standards, and approved design specifications. This role involves conducting regular site inspections across residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects to verify structural integrity, construction quality, and regulatory compliance. The inspector monitors each phase of construction, from foundation laying to final handover, identifying any deviations from architectural plans or violations of environmental and municipal codes. They issue inspection reports, record observations, and make recommendations for corrective action where non-compliance is found. The Construction Compliance Inspector plays a critical role in enforcing the standards set by Al Ain Municipality, Abu Dhabi Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities, and federal building laws. Through vigilant oversight, this position ensures not only code compliance but also enhances safety, construction quality, and the longevity of built assets in Al Ain’s fast-developing urban landscape.

Candidates must hold a degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management, or building inspection, along with 5–7 years of inspection experience in the UAE. Familiarity with Al Ain’s municipal codes, construction standards, and regulatory bodies is essential. Key skills include blueprint reading, technical reporting, problem-solving, and cross-team communication.
