Job Description:

The Land Use Planner is responsible for evaluating, designing, and implementing land development strategies that align with Dubai’s urban growth plans, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory frameworks. This role involves preparing land use maps, zoning proposals, master plans, and development assessments for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. The planner collaborates with architects, engineers, developers, and government officials to ensure all projects comply with Dubai Municipality and RERA planning standards. Key responsibilities include conducting feasibility studies, impact assessments, density analysis, and infrastructure reviews to guide land use decisions. The planner also participates in public consultations, zoning hearings, and project presentations. As Dubai continues to evolve its skyline and infrastructure, the Land Use Planner plays an essential role in shaping how land is utilized to support population growth, transportation needs, and environmental protection. The role also involves reviewing existing developments for improvement or rezoning, analyzing GIS data, and making policy recommendations to enhance urban form and function.

Job Requirement:

Applicants should have a degree in urban planning, geography, or architecture, with 4–7 years of experience in land use planning, zoning, or municipal development. Proficiency in GIS tools, familiarity with Dubai’s planning laws, and an understanding of sustainable development practices are essential. Communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills are also required.
