Job Description:
The Compliance Operations Manager in Al Ain is responsible for overseeing the daily execution of the organization's compliance policies, processes, and procedures to ensure adherence to local, regional, and international regulatory frameworks. This role requires managing the design, implementation, and monitoring of internal control systems that ensure business operations are conducted in a lawful and ethical manner. The manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, legal departments, and business units to perform risk assessments, monitor regulatory changes, and mitigate non-compliance incidents.
Key responsibilities include leading compliance reviews and audits, identifying gaps in current practices, and initiating corrective actions to strengthen compliance frameworks. The Compliance Operations Manager will also manage the internal compliance monitoring program, prepare compliance reports for executive leadership, and respond to regulatory inquiries or findings. This role is instrumental in building a compliance-oriented culture by conducting regular training, awareness sessions, and policy refreshers for employees and stakeholders. The position also plays a critical part in managing whistleblower reports and conducting internal investigations into ethical and regulatory breaches.
This is a strategic and operational leadership role requiring deep knowledge of regulatory guidelines in sectors such as trade, finance, and corporate governance. The ideal candidate must be organized, discreet, and analytical, capable of interpreting complex regulations and translating them into actionable strategies.
Job Requirement:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field is essential, with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in compliance or risk management roles. Candidates must have a strong understanding of UAE and international compliance frameworks, including ISO standards and regulatory protocols. Skills in policy development, internal auditing, stakeholder communication, and data analysis are crucial. Experience with digital compliance tools and workflow platforms is a plus. Fluency in English and Arabic is highly desirable, alongside strong ethical judgment and leadership capabilities.
