Job Description:
The Immigration Attorney in Dubai handles legal matters related to visas, residency, nationality, and immigration compliance for corporate clients and individuals. The attorney is responsible for representing clients before immigration authorities, advising on work permits, investor visas, family reunification, and appeals against deportation or visa rejections. The role includes preparing legal submissions, monitoring changes in immigration laws, and consulting with HR departments on legal eligibility for hiring foreign nationals. The attorney will also assist with due diligence in cross-border transactions and ensure compliance with UAE immigration policies, GDRFA, and MOHRE regulations. This role requires timely coordination with clients, embassies, and government offices.
Job Requirement:
A law degree from a recognized institution is required, with licensing to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction. Candidates must have 4 to 6 years of experience in immigration law, including representation, advisory, and compliance work in the UAE or similar legal systems. Expertise in UAE visa categories, Golden Visa programs, and immigration audits is essential. The candidate should possess strong drafting, advocacy, and negotiation skills, along with familiarity with immigration systems and procedures. Fluency in English is required; Arabic or other language fluency is a strong asset.
