Job Description:

The Legal Research Analyst in Al Ain is responsible for conducting in-depth legal research and analysis to support attorneys, corporate legal teams, and policy advisors. The role involves interpreting statutes, case law, legal precedents, and regulatory changes to prepare briefs, memoranda, and recommendations. The analyst must stay current on legislative developments in the UAE and international jurisdictions, compiling detailed reports to inform legal strategies, risk assessments, or litigation support. Duties include preparing comparative legal studies, reviewing judicial opinions, summarizing new laws, and organizing legal databases. The Legal Research Analyst also assists in document review for due diligence, legislative drafting, and internal policy formulation. Strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex legal language into concise, actionable insights are vital. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy deep legal research, critical analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Job Requirement:

Candidates should hold a degree in Law, Legal Studies, or Public Policy. A postgraduate degree or specialization in legal research or comparative law is advantageous. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in legal research roles, preferably in a law firm, think tank, or corporate legal department, is expected. Strong skills in legal research tools such as LexisNexis, Westlaw, and regional legal databases are essential. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to synthesize large volumes of legal information into well-structured summaries and briefings. Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in Arabic is a plus. Accuracy, confidentiality, and a solid understanding of UAE legal frameworks are key attributes for success.
