Job Description:
The Private Banking Advisor provides bespoke financial advice and wealth management services to high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs). The advisor manages client portfolios, identifies investment opportunities, and offers guidance on banking, credit, insurance, and estate planning products. Core responsibilities include maintaining long-term client relationships, understanding clients’ financial goals and risk tolerance, and proposing tailored investment solutions such as mutual funds, structured products, and discretionary mandates. The advisor collaborates with product specialists, investment strategists, and legal experts to deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions. Additionally, the role involves onboarding new clients, ensuring compliance with KYC/AML regulations, and achieving revenue and asset growth targets. The advisor must remain informed about global financial markets, taxation implications, and evolving investor preferences. Discretion, relationship management skills, and the ability to build trust with affluent clients are crucial to succeed in this role.
Job Requirement:
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Banking is required; a CFP, CFA, or similar wealth management credential is highly preferred. Candidates should have 5–8 years of experience in private banking, wealth advisory, or financial planning. Strong knowledge of investment products, asset allocation, and risk profiling tools is required. The role demands excellent communication, interpersonal, and sales skills, along with a deep understanding of financial regulations, especially regarding client onboarding, AML/KYC, and cross-border compliance. Fluency in English and Arabic is an advantage.
