Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Academic Advisor to join our education consulting division in Munich. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students in making informed decisions regarding their academic paths, degree programs, and career goals. This role involves one-on-one student advising, reviewing academic progress, providing course selection guidance, and connecting students with institutional resources.

You will collaborate with faculty and administrative departments to ensure students meet graduation requirements and stay on track with their academic plans. In addition, you will assist with orientation programs, develop advising materials, and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving student retention and success. The role also includes supporting international students with academic integration and compliance.

Job Requirement:

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline; a master’s degree is highly preferred. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in academic advising or student services is required. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work with diverse student populations.

Experience with student information systems, academic planning software, and institutional policies is important. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in German is advantageous. The role requires empathy, organizational skills, and a student-centered mindset focused on academic achievement and personal development.
