Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Operations Consultant to support healthcare organizations in Cologne with the design, execution, and optimization of clinical processes. In this role, you will advise hospitals, research institutions, and pharmaceutical clients on improving clinical workflows, enhancing compliance with regulatory standards, and maximizing operational efficiency. You will assess clinical performance, identify process gaps, and implement best practices in patient care delivery, trial management, and resource allocation.

Your responsibilities will include supporting clinical project planning, facilitating interdepartmental coordination, optimizing patient flow, and integrating digital health tools. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective execution of clinical strategies that align with patient safety and institutional goals.

Job Requirement:

Candidates should have a degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field. A master’s degree in Clinical Research, Public Health, or Healthcare Management is advantageous. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in clinical operations, hospital consulting, or healthcare systems management is essential. Strong understanding of clinical trial operations, healthcare regulations, and quality standards is required.

Applicants must have excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, clinical KPIs, and risk mitigation planning is desirable. Fluency in English is mandatory, and German language skills are considered a strong asset. Candidates should be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of driving clinical efficiency.
