Job Description:
We are looking for a Hydropower Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and repair of hydropower facilities in Munich. You will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs on turbines, generators, and related electrical and mechanical equipment.
You will work alongside engineers and operations staff to ensure equipment reliability, maximize power generation efficiency, and comply with safety and environmental regulations.
This role suits technically skilled individuals with a passion for renewable energy and hands-on maintenance work.
Job Requirement:
Candidates should have technical training or certification in electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance. A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in hydropower plants or similar industrial settings is required.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and maintenance procedures is essential. Ability to read technical drawings and perform troubleshooting is required.
English fluency is required; German proficiency is a plus. Candidates must be physically fit, detail-oriented, and able to work in teams and under pressure. A valid driver’s license is necessary.
