Job Description:
We are hiring an Electrical Cable Joiner to work on the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical cables in Frankfurt am Main. This role involves splicing and joining low, medium, and high voltage cables, both underground and overhead, to ensure safe and reliable power distribution.
You will work closely with electricians and engineers to prepare cables, perform jointing and termination, and conduct insulation and continuity tests. You will also be responsible for following safety protocols to prevent electrical hazards during all stages of work.
This position suits skilled technicians experienced in cable jointing, with a strong focus on quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Job Requirement:
Candidates must have completed vocational training as an electrical technician, cable joiner, or similar trade. Previous experience in cable jointing, especially with medium and high voltage systems, is required.
You should be proficient in reading technical drawings, using cable jointing tools, and performing electrical tests. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to electrical installations is essential.
Fluency in English is necessary; knowledge of German will be considered an asset. Applicants should be physically fit, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and within a team. A valid driver’s license is required for site mobility.
