Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Munich, specializing in subsurface investigations and soil analysis for energy and utility projects. This role involves conducting detailed geotechnical site assessments, interpreting soil and rock data, and providing recommendations for foundation design and construction safety.

You will collaborate closely with civil engineers, drilling teams, and environmental consultants to ensure that ground conditions are thoroughly evaluated for infrastructure projects such as pipelines, power plants, and renewable energy installations. Your expertise will help mitigate geological risks and optimize design solutions.

This position offers the chance to work on diverse projects involving cutting-edge geotechnical testing and analysis techniques. You will be responsible for preparing technical reports, supervising field investigations, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in geotechnical investigations and site characterization.

  • Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and foundation engineering.

  • Experience with drilling supervision and field testing techniques.

  • Excellent analytical, report writing, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.

  • Proficiency in English; German language skills preferred.
