Job Description:
The Assembly Line Assembler performs repetitive tasks on a manufacturing assembly line to build, test, and package products or components. This role involves reading work orders and blueprints, positioning parts according to predefined sequences, and using hand or power tools to join components. The assembler ensures each unit is constructed correctly and performs quality checks during the assembly process to maintain standards. Work may include installing wiring, screws, fasteners, labels, or adhesives, depending on the product. The assembler must keep pace with the production line, meet daily quotas, and report any malfunctions or part shortages to the supervisor. Cleanliness and organization of the work area, adherence to safety protocols, and contribution to continuous improvement efforts are vital to the role. Coordination with other team members and supervisors ensures smooth operation and minimal downtime.
Job Requirement:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working in an assembly line or manufacturing environment is preferred
Ability to read and understand assembly instructions, schematics, and safety guidelines
Manual dexterity and attention to detail for precise component placement
Familiarity with basic hand tools and production equipment
Ability to work standing for long periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
