Job Description:
The CNC Machinist in Hawally operates computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision metal and plastic parts for manufacturing. Responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, programming CNC machines, setting up tools, and ensuring the accuracy of machined components. The machinist is expected to measure finished parts using precision instruments such as micrometers and calipers, inspect for defects, and make adjustments to maintain product quality. This position requires a strong technical foundation, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The machinist also collaborates with engineers and production teams to streamline production efficiency and improve machine uptime.
Job Requirement:
Diploma or certification in machining, mechanical technology, or a related field
At least 2 years of hands-on CNC machining experience
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and specifications
Knowledge of G-code and experience with CNC lathe and milling machines
Skilled in using precision measuring tools for quality control
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to set up, calibrate, and maintain CNC machines
Understanding of materials used in machining, including metals and plastics
Attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities
Willingness to work shifts and meet production deadlines
