Job Description:
The Medical Transcriptionist Coordinator in AI Ahmadi is responsible for overseeing a team of transcriptionists, ensuring high-quality conversion of medical audio recordings into accurate and formatted written reports. This role includes quality checking transcribed documents, assigning workloads, training junior staff, and maintaining turnaround times (TAT) according to client requirements.
They also coordinate with medical professionals to clarify ambiguous audio content and ensure reports adhere to healthcare documentation standards, privacy regulations, and formatting guidelines.
Job Requirement:
Certification or diploma in Medical Transcription or allied health documentation.
4–6 years of transcription experience, with 1–2 years in a team lead or coordinator role.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, pharmacology, and healthcare practices.
Excellent listening, editing, and proofreading skills.
Proficiency with transcription software and foot pedal systems.
Familiarity with HIPAA and data privacy laws.
Ability to manage teams, prioritize tasks, and resolve escalations effectively.
Detail-oriented and quality-driven approach.
