Job Description:
Packaging Support Staff are essential contributors to the smooth and efficient operation of the production packaging department in Al Farwaniyah. This role involves assisting machine operators, loading packaging materials, inspecting packaged goods, and stacking items for palletization. The packaging support team plays a crucial role in ensuring that finished goods are properly prepared for storage or shipment. Responsibilities include checking for labeling errors, damaged packaging, and weight inaccuracies.
The Packaging Support Staff must follow standard operating procedures to maintain product quality and packaging consistency. They assist in maintaining cleanliness in the work area, disposing of defective items, and organizing packed units for final dispatch. The role also includes maintaining records of packaging volumes and reporting issues to supervisors for timely intervention.
Job Requirement:
High school education or vocational training preferred
Previous experience in a production or packaging environment is advantageous
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
Physically fit to handle repetitive lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Detail-oriented with a commitment to product integrity and presentation
Basic understanding of packaging safety standards
Team player with good communication skills
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
Familiarity with packaging machinery is a plus
Must be able to work different shifts including evenings and weekends
